<p>I believe in that older version of TRNOPT you needed the final "\" in the genopt directory - so it would be "c:\genopt\"</p>
<p>You might consider upgrading to TRNSYS 17, TrnOpt 17 and genopt 3. The error handling was improved in TRNOPT 17 and genopt 3 allows you to run parallel simulations.</p>
