<html><head></head><body><div style="font-family: Verdana;font-size: 12.0px;"><div>Dear community,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I am new to TRNSYS and I am starting to work on a simulation which should represent the energy losses through the hot waterpipe system in a building. I am trying to figure out how handle this kind of issue.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>One approach I already made was creating the circulation first, if that works I could "put" the network in the building by adding type 56 and connect it with all the existing pipes. So I started to create a very simple network with a water tank (type 4a), a pump (type 114 e.g.) and connect those with a few pipes (type 31), tee-piece diverter and mixer (type 11d/f)...So far so good, even though the result is meaningless, it worked.</div>
<div>But when I include a building created with TRBbuild it didn't work anymore.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Question: Has anyone ever had contact with this kind of simulation (hot water circulation etc.)? If so, how did you start?</div>
<div>There is defenitely a better and more accurate way to simulate a circulation like this, but how?</div>
<div>The aim is to add more details little by little, like a stratified fluid tank (type 60) and maybe a solar system which feeds the tank with a lower temperature as well.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thank you very much in advance for your help. I would appreciate it very much.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Kind regards,</div>
