The u-value (and g-value) shown in the upper right corner of the
TRNBuild window type manager are for display only; these values are
simply read out of the w-4 library. At the end of the file, you will
find some lines that look like the following:<br>

The u-value fields are shown in red, the g-value (SHGC) values are
shown in blue. You can write whatever numbers you want in those

a windows with desired properties. I manipulated the
configuration so that the outcome u value is 1.88 which I
wanted it to be. Following the window-defining tutorial, I
was able to transport the information into TRNSYS
by modifying the W4-lib file and Prgwin.lib file. However,
when I selected it from the windows library, the shown value
was 1.63. Can anyone provide some possible explanations?
