They probably won't be very comparable and they shouldn't be but
they're both still useful in getting at what you're looking for. The
sensible heating energy output from Type56 is the amount of energy
that is required by the space in order to maintain temperature. The
required boiler energy is the amount of source energy that has to be
purchased in order to run the boiler and provide that amount of
energy to the zone. The difference between the two is the system
inefficiency. The required boiler energy must be higher than the
sensible heating requirement from Type56. If it is, then that is an
indication that the boiler isn't providing enough energy to keep the
space heated. The boiler should also have an output that is the
amount of energy actually transferred to the fluid. This value
should match the sensible heating demand better; the difference in
this case is the inefficiency of the pumping and distribution
systems.

I model a house with the ideal heating system which is used

step is to compare the energy consumption between the two cases.
Does anyone know what is the relation between the two outputs,
Sensible Heating energy for the first case and Required energy
boiler input for the second case. How can I make these two
values comparable?
