I have just been working with this Type a lot too! The cover is
considered to sit directly on top of the water. You could consider
modeling the 15cm space as a thermal zone in Type56 but I would be
very careful in doing so; there is a very complicated mass/energy
balance that may include condensation and runoff on the underside of
the cover unless of course you are providing a lot of ventilation
underneath that cover.<br>

Hello trnsys users.<br>

I am trying to simulate an open pond that is shaded by a surface
placed about 15cm above water surface. Another words, this is a
ventilated pond. For this purpose I use the type 344b (open
pool). <br>
<br>
I would like to ask whether the cover of the pool is considered
to be right above water surface. Is the ambient air allowed to
blow below the cover and above water surface?<br>
