It depends on what heat pump model you are using. If you are using
one of the TESS heat pump models then it does not take the COP
directly. Instead it takes the heat pump capacity (energy delivered,
assuming the heat pump does not have a variable speed compressor)
and the heat pump power draw at various inlet conditions. The COP is
computed from these two values so knowing two, you can compute the
third and enter it in the external data files required by the heat
pump model.<br>
