Juan Francisco,<br>
When you draw your building in Trnsys3D, you will need to perform
either an automatic or a manual surface matching so that the wall
that separates the two zones is listed as ADJACENT in both. Once you
import your *.idf into TRNBuild, you should see the ADJACENT wall
listed in both zones. Go to the wall typemanager and select the
ADJACENT wall type (note, you may want to make a copy of this wall
and give it a new name in case you have more than one type of
adjacent wall in your building). You can now change the layers to be
whatever you like. Note that at the top of the layer list there is
text that says "front/inside." This means that the first layer in
the list is denoted as the "front" of the wall. Lastly, go to the
zone that contains the "front" of the wall, select the ADJACENT wall
in that zone and make sure that the radio button below says "front."
If it says "back," simply change it to "front."<br>
Best,<br>

<div>Juan Francisco,<br>
I may be misinterpreting what you mean by non-symmetric
adjacent walls. However, if it is the case I am imagining, you
have a zone containing one wall that is adjacent to two other
zones (draw a large box with a T-shape in it so that you have
one box on top and two smaller boxes underneath). In this case,
you have to break up the wall in the zone on top into two walls,
each one adjacent to a single zone. The zone on top will end up
having 5 walls instead of 4.<br>
Kind regards,<br>
David<br>
