<div>I was wondering if I could simulate solar-thermal power plants like open and closed Rankine or Brayton cycle? Does TRNSYS use finite time thermodynamics? Then can I analyze the thermal efficiency, look at the temperature and pressure at different points?

 Can take into account irreversibilities?</div>
