Dear Omisanya,
There are a few options:

First, regardless of the specific details of a collector's
construction, when a collector is tested and its performance
parameters are reported in a generic form so that it can be compared
against similar technologies. For example, the form of the
performance curve for a flat plate type-collector is the same
whether there are fin-tubes behind a glass cover or whether there
are evacuated tubes with a reflector behind them. It may be that the
parameters required by the linear parabolic concentrator component
can be obtained for your collector.

If not, then a second option is the "performance map" solar
collector model in the standard library (Type72). It will require
you to create a data file that specifies the collector efficiency as
a function of wind speed, solar radiation, and dT/It (temperature
difference between inlet and ambient divided by incident solar
radiation).

Kind regards,
David
Am trying to simulate an adsorption refrigerator system
using CPC collector. My collector receiver/adsorber is
made of two pipe arranged concentrically(with common
centre) with zeolite 4A packed in between the concentric
pipe (the innermost is perforated) and it receives direct
solar radiation. This type of CPC collector is not in the
trnsys library.
Pls advice me on how to simulate such design.
