<pre>I just got TRNSYS 17 and was going through the Google Sketchup tutorial.
The tutorial is not very clear as to what output from the Type 56 model
should be an input into the Type 125 Sketchup printer. I tried linking the
two zone air temperatures to the 2 inputs of the Sketchup printer (with
values being named FIRST_FLOOR and SECOND_FLOOR and units being "strings").
Going back into Sketchup, the render by data value just shows the model as
white, meaning there's no information transfered from the studio simulation.
One more note is that when I initially save the .idf file in Sketchup, it
doesn't actually become a .idf until I create a 3D project in the sim
studio. I then get a message..."The BUI file need be translated and is
about to be processed by TrnsysStudio. Click OK to continue..." Is there
anything wrong with this message?
Thanks
