      I would imagine that the required area would change depending on
    how much sun there is at any given point in time. Since it is not
    possible to change the collector array constantly in an actual built
    system, normally the way a simulation would be carried out is to do
    some hand (or Excel) calculations to determine the area required at
    a predefined solar condition (maybe at peak solar availability,
    maybe some average solar availability) and then to run the
    simulation with that area. If the hand/Excel calculations aren't
    working, you could do trial and error - choose an area and see if it
    meets the absorption machine's requirements. If not, increase the
    area.<br>

            if I calculate the generator heat required in Type 107
            absorption chiller for
            specific capacity of chiller and useful heat from the

            then I can calculate the required area to completely offset
            the absorption
            chiller from electricity to solar energy for year around.
            Please guide me in
            this context. I have already done this analytically in excel
            but there I

              In order to add an output to a component, you need to
            modify the Type's
            source code and recompile the TRNDll using a Fortran
            compiler. Actually
            changing an input variable to an output variable is a fairly
            complex procedure
            because by definition, the component's performance depends
            on its input values.
            In this case, the performance of your collector depends on
            the collector area.
            If you want to change the area from an input to an output,
            you also need to
            figure out how you are going to calculate the collector
            performance without
            without knowing the collector area in advance.<br>
