The tank loss coefficient dictates the heat loss from the tank. The losses from the tank are simply:<br /><br />Tank Loss Coefficient * Tank Surface Area * (Tank temperature - Environment temperature)<br /><br />Refer to the mathematical description manual for questions like this as the manual gives the governing equations for the models and helps answer questions like this.
