You are correct that moisture transfer through walls is not
accounted for. If you implement TRNFlow in your Type56 model (or if
you couple Type56 with CONTAM/Type97) then you will see some of the
effect of moisture transport as air infiltrates into the space
through openings and by air leakage through the building materials.
I have not seen any studies that address the issue of the relative
magnitude of moisture transport through materials as compared to
being a biproduct of infiltration.<br>
