Dear Prof. Redpath,
In TRNSYS 17, Type15 would be the best choice provided that you
have a standard format weather file such as TMY, TMY2, TMY3, EPW,
etc. If you have non standard or measured data, you can use a
combination of Types9 and 16. If you don't mind doing some work in
Excel to format user data a little bit, you can use Type99. All of
those radiation processing components (15, 16, and 99) should have
the components of solar radiation needed for evacuated tube
collector modeling (whether tracking or fixed).
Kind regards,
Subject: [TRNSYS-users] OUTPUT about storing thermal energy of
wall
Dear all,

I assumed the initial indoor temperature as 20°C, it means the
walls and
roof and
floor can store lots of thermal energy. PLEASE tell me which
OUTPUT is
storing thermal energy of wall?
Which NTYPE? QCOMI or QABSI or QUA? QCSURF?
Many thanks!
