It looks like the Studio didn't create the skeleton *.for code
correctly. Those lines that start with $$ are placeholders in a
template file and should be replaced with the specific information
from your proforma. Please make sure that you have the most recent
release of Trnsys17 (version 17.00.0018). You can check the version
number by looking at the *.lst or *.log file that is generated when
you run a simulation (both can be opened in a text editor).<br>

I might also mention that while the standard for writing a
component in Trnsys17 did change, any component that is written
using the Trnsys16 standard (ie with the list of arguments in the
subroutine call) will still work just fine.<br>

I had no trouble creating one with TRNSYS 16.1 but since I<br>
have upgraded to TRNSYS 17, it's not working any more.<br>

With TRNSYS 17, the structure of the new component generated<br>
by Simulation Studio is different than it used to be. I
noticed that<br>
the arguments are no longer existent and command lines with <br>
$$ are newly seen. I don't see the output arrays any more.<br>
Is this normal with TRNSYS 17 or did I do something wrong?<br>

I am attaching two files which I hope will explain my

One is a fortran file generated by Simulation Studio.<br>
