<DIV>Has anyone ever modeled a rain water collection system in TRNSYS? </DIV>

<DIV>Also, do the existing weather files support this type of simulation? If not, do you know where I might find hourly rain data?</DIV>

<DIV>On one weather file I was able to get (Sterling, VA, USA), there is a "Precipitable Water" value that doesn't have any units. </DIV>

<DIV>I looked up precipitable water online and got the definition, "A quantity of water available in the atmosphere in a column".</DIV>

<DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>That to me does not mean an amount of rain, but a potential amount of rain. </DIV>
