Use the Mitsubishi temperature and enthalpy exchange values to calculate the "maufacturer's estimate" of the outlet conditions and drive the equations with varying air conditions. Then use the Type 667 model and vary the sensible and latent effectiveness until you get an acceptable match.

Jeff

Jeff Thornton
President - TESS, LLC

22 North Carroll Street - Suite 370
Madison WI 53703 USA

Phone: 608-274-2577
Fax: 608-278-1475
E-mail: thornton@tess-inc.com
Web: www.tess-inc.com

Dear TRNSYS users

I am looking at using a heat recovery unit such as Type667b, and I have to input the sensible and latent effectiveness, but in the specifications I got for a Mitsubishi unit, they provide the temperature exchange efficiency and the enthalpy exchange efficiency.

How could I link those data to the parameters in the Type667b?

Regards,
