There is no rule as to what the input file is called as far as Studio
is concerned. However, if you are trying to run multiple input files
(*.dck) that have already been generated, I would recommend that you
use either a batch file and the command:<br>
<br>
"c:\Program Files\Trnsys16_1\Exe\TRNExe.exe" "c:\Program
Files\Trnsys16_1\MyProjects\...\NameOfInputFile.dck" /n<br>
<br>
or that you run a parametric table from TRNEdit in which the input file
name stays the same but a certain CONSTANT statement is varied from one
run to the next. In this case, the individual *.dck files will be
created as each parametric table run starts.<br>

am trying to run TRNSYS simulation using different input files. I tried
to set
the deck file name in the control card to ‘any’ but I still get
errors. I think it requires the name of the deck file to be similar to
the ‘.tpf’
file. Is there away to avoid this problem. I know that a parametric
table runs
in TRNEdit do the same thing where many input files are created and
then run.<o:p></o:p></p>
