Chun Kwong,
Type94 can act as a PV panel that is directly connected to a load or
it can act as a PV panel that is attached to a maximum power point
tracker (MPPT). If your PV is directly connected to a load, then you
set input 3 to that load voltage (which may be calculated by an
equation or by another model). Type94 will iterate internally to find
where its operating point is on the PV's current-voltage characteristic
curve and will output the voltage as output 1. Typically this will be
the same as the input voltage once convergence is reached. If your PV
has an MPPT on it then you do not need to worry about setting the input
voltage and you should only pay attention to outputs 4, 6, and 7.
Kind regards,

Dear Trnsys users.
I am going to simulate a PV system using the type94 component. However, I don't
know the difference between the load voltage in input 3 and the array voltage
in output 1. Can anyone advise? Thank you!
Best Regards
