Edwin,
Your choice of data reader depends only on what data you have
available. Type54 takes monthly average weather conditions
(temperature, humidity, and solar radiation) and generates a
statistically possible set of hourly conditions. Type9 simply reads a
data file. If you have measured hourly data, you can use Type9. If you
have monthly conditions only, you will need to use Type54. If the
location that you are working on is close enough to one of the
Meteonorm sites you can use Type15 and one of the already-provided
hourly weather data files that come with TRNSYS. If at all possible, I
would recommend using Type15 and a pre-existing data file.
Kind regards,
everybody!

I
am making my hybrid system, I'm working with a PV- generetor, WECS and
DEGS, but I found one thesis that it uses a TYPE 54, but for Trnsys
samples I know that I have to use Type 9. Really I don't what I will
use? cause I have WECS and PV. I have to use one of them for both
(WECS, PV) or the two data reader one for WECS and another for PV.
Which one is better to use?
Please, please somebody can help me?

Thank you very much!
