<div dir="ltr">Hello David,<br><br>One more question about the fortran compiler. I installed the <font size="2">Intel Visual Fortran Compiler v10.0.025</font>. Now, It doesn't say in the manuals which file you have to put on the FORTRAN environment variable (I set the bin/ifort.exe, but I'm not so sure it should be that one). <br>
<br>Now, if this is the file... what else should I do in order to make the "Compile Module" button to work, cuase I tried now and it doesn't work (it says "the system cannot find the specified file", but in spanish in my case).<br>
<br>I'll wait for your answer, cause I haven't really found enough information in the manuals.<br><br>Thanks one more time!<br><br>Carlos<br>PRIEN, Universidad de Chile<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

Carlos,<br>
You might want to refer to section 8.5 of the 08-Programmer's Guide
manual for instructions on how to modify existing components and
recompile them. For instructions on how to modify and create new
proformas, you may refer to section 2.3 of the 02-Simulation Studio
manual.<div><div></div><div class="Wj3C7c"><br>

Carlos,<br>
In addition to modifying the proforma, if you change something in the
Fortran code, you have to recompile that code and generate a new STEC
Library DLL. <br>
<br>
There is no method for automatically generating a proforma from
Fortran code. To create a proforma, select "New Component" from the
File: New menu. Specify the Type number on the first tab and then
specify all of the parameters, inputs, and outputs on the third tab. If
a proforma exists for your component already, you can double click it
from within the Direct Access tool (instead of selecting it and moving
it out into your project), then modify it.<br>
<br>
Kind regards,<br>

<div dir="ltr">Hi there,<br>
<br>
I'm using the STEC library I received from the german DLR. I want to
make a little change to it, and I have the source code (file.for).<br>
<br>
My question is, how do I generate a proforma out of the .FOR file?
That's all I need, how do I generate the proforma file out of the
fortran code (that is already done and should work fine cause is pretty
much the same than before but with a very small change).<br>
<br>
Thanks for the time, <br>
