I'm trying to model a roof eave/overhang using Type 34 that shades a side of a building with multiple windows. From previous postings, I've gathered that the most accurate method would be to define the wall area and each window separately as an "external wall" (or "additional window") and then apply a Type 34 to each using the appropriate receiver dimensions. This is pretty cumbersome and I'd rather not have to do this for every house that I model. Which of the following alternatives would be best:

1. Use one Type 34 for each side of the building with a receiver area that equals the entire side area with zero gap.
2. Use one Type 34 for each side of the building with a receiver area that equals the entire side area with a gap referenced to the windows.

3. Use one Type 34 for each side of the building with a receiver area that equals the averaged window area with averaged left-right extensions.

4. Use one Type 34 for each side of the building with a receiver area that equals the total window area with averaged left-right extensions.
