I think that you can handle the damper using Type11 as a controlled
damper. Take the mass flow rate of air that is coming out of the thermal
storage wall as an OUTPUT and pass it as the INPUT mass flow rate of air
into Type11. Type11 will then have two outlet air streams. One of those
outlet streams will go to your building model while the other will go to
ambient. You will then have to write an equation that determines whether
the air that is flowing into the Type11 goes to the zone or to ambient.
