I think the expression "canadian well" is a translation from
the french "puits canadiens".<br>
However, I am not sure that the expression "puits canadiens"
originated from Canada (!). <br>
I heard the expression for the first time a few years back from
researchers in France. <br><br>
I think transsolar has a type (260) that models "earth-air heat
exchanger".<br>
