Michel,
I don't know if running your simulation (including labview) from
within the TRNSYS environment would be an option - TRNSYS will not
continue on to the next timestep unless all of the components in the
simulation have converged. You could write a wrapper Type that calls
Labview and doesn't converge until Labview is ready to allow it. This is
the method used for communicating between TRNSYS and EES using Type66 -
Type66 essentially handles the communication between TRNSYS and EES,
pausing the TRNSYS simulation indefinitely while it calls EES and waits
for EES's results to come back.
Kind regards,
I'm trying to run TRNSYS from LabVIEW, and I
intend to pause TRNSYS after each simulation timestep until LabVIEW
decides that it should calculate the next timestep. Starting TRNSYS is no
problem - it can be done with a command line call from LabVIEW, but does
anyone have an idea how to tell TRNSYS to pause after every timestep
until it get's a call to go on?
