[TRNSYS-users] Regarding the use of Type 2: aquastatC controller

Ashmin,

  The controller can make one control decision per time step. When the 
controller decides to turn on the cooling equipment then the cooling 
equipment has to stay on for 5 minutes, driving the temperature of the 
space downwards, perhaps beyond the limit of the dead band. If you use a 
1 minute timestep instead then the controller has a chance every minute 
to turn the cooling equipment back off, limiting the temperature 
overshoot in the building.
