Emilie,

   You'll need to modify the Type173 proforma. Double click on it in the 
direct access tool (in the directory tree on the right, not in your 
project) and switch to the "variables" tab then click on the button at 
the top of the window. Select the "inputs" tab then select the input in 
question and click "modify." Change the units to amperes then close and 
save the proforma. Next, go to your project and right click on the 
Type173 and select "replace" from the context menu. Browse to find the 
Type173a proforma again.


   Out of curiosity, which version of Trnsys are you using? I checked 
back to an early version of 17.1 and in that version both the Type194 
output and the Type173 input are both "amperes"
