Yuekuan,
Even if your PC is a 64-bit machine, it can still run 32-bit software.
If you are using Trnsys17 (which is a 32-bit program) then you will
need to use the 32-bit version of Matlab. I have heard (although I do
not know for a fact) that there is an installer for the 32-bit version
of Matlab even if you have the 64-bit version. You will also need to use
a version of Type155.dll that matches your Matlab release version. There
are a number of versions of Type155.dll in the ..\Trnsys17\Exe\DLLs\
directory. If you cannot find the version you need please contact me
directly and I can probably get you the file you need.
If you are using Trnsys18 (which is a 64-bit program) then you need
to pair it with the 64-bit version of Matlab. Again, you'll need a copy
of Type155.dll that matches your Matlab version.
kind regards,
David
