[TRNSYS-users] PCM in heating systems

Silvia,

We have models that might work fine or might be at least a good start
for both of those situations.

We have a model of a PCM that is a layer embedded in a Type56 wall
(Type1270 -
http://trnsys.com/tess-libraries/individual-components.php.html).
Whether this model works or not depends a bit on the configuration of
your floor. If you can give me some details as to where the PCM is
located and how it is implemented, I would be able to give a (hopefully)
clearer answer.

We wrote a model of a PCM-backed PV panel some years ago. The panel
does not have a thermal component to it but could certainly be modified
to have one. There would be some development cost associated with the
modifications if we were to make them. Please contact me directly if
you'd like to discuss further.

kind regards,

  David
