Hey Arne,

the balance NTypes 901 – 908 are defined like the other outputs but in contrast to the other ones they don’t return a value. If they are defined a balance output files are printed in the directory of the Trnsys input file *.d18/dck. You can define them in the output manager of TRNBuild.

In case you do not want to open TRNBuild. You can add the balance outputs in your *.b18/*.bui file like:
AIRNODES = YOUR_AIRNODE
NTYPES = 905 : BAL_5 - energy balance for a sum of zones

best,
Christoph

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Energy_TOT.BAL

Hello TRNSYS-Users,

I simulated the TRNSYS Example Multizone Building from the Documentation 06-MultizoneBuilding.pdf.

Now i want to see the Energy balance of that building with the Energy_TOT.Bal file. It says in the documentation to generate this file you have to select NTYPE 905 in Output Manager in SimulationStudio. But is there also a way to do that in the DECK file?

I cant find a solution. Please find attached the files I used for the simulation.

Thank you!
