[TRNSYS-users] Simulation Data

Hey,

The eso viewer refers to the zone name. Just change your Input from TAIR_C1CE40 to C1CE40 than it works.

The Trnsys3d Printer will generate *.eso files that can be read by the Trnsys3d plugin to visualize results in SketchUp. The Trnsys3d printer can be configured in two different ways.

  1. Print Surface Outputs: the SurfacesID’s (corresponding to the ID’s in TRNBuild) are required as initial values
  2. Print Airnode Outputs: the AIRNODE Names (corresponding to the names in TRNBUILD) are required as initial value. CAPITAL LETTERS, NO SPACES!

Best,
Christoph

Dears,

Dear Cristoph,

You find here all files generated by the software.

I'm testing the option of "profil temperature animation " just on One Zone.

Thank you very much,

Dears,
Dear Cristoph,

I testing this way (Profil temperature animation) just on one zone.

I give you all files generated by the software.

Thank you very much

Dears,
Dear Christoph,

Thank you for the information.

I chose just the Temp_Zone like the only parameter of simulation, in order to not confuse with another parameters.

The problem is the same, when i want to load data variables in google sketch up, the temperature values didn't load .

In simulation studio, i add the type 125, and i link just temperature as the output parameter. I don't know if i should add anything in simulation studio in order to load temprerature information in google sketch up.

Thank you very much

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Type 112b Motor Efficiency
Dear Trnsys Users,

I am modelling an AHU system in Trnsys for a part of my Master Thesis. I use Type 112b to model a fan and I just discovered that the motor efficiency parameter input of the fan has no impact on the power consumption but it is only used in the equation to calculate heat losses to the air from the pump.

But this value works backwards in the equation in my opinion. The outlet air temperature rises with a greater efficiency value, which means more heat transfer from the fan motor to the air stream is bigger with a more efficient motor!? . Should not it be the other way around?
Another point is, when the motor heat loss fraction is 1, changing the efficiency of the motor does not make any difference at the outlet air temperature.
If anybody has any experience with this type, a help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Emir

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Loading temperature data in Google Sketch Up
Dears,

Could anyone can tell me why temperature data of TRNSYS can't be load in Rendering Settings in Google Sketch Up:

The problem is that i can load the data source from the .eso file generate by Type 125. But when i want load the data variable and i select zone, the outside and inside variable can't be load automatically.

Therefore, i can't animate de temperature profil in Google Sketch Up

Any help will be appreciated!

Thank you very much

Hey,

When loading the data variables, make sure you choose the corresponding variable type in simulation studio. Don’t mix surfaces and zones or different outputs as temperature with rel. humidity.
Hope that works!
For more information please read the 04-MathematicalReference, 4.7.6. Type 125: Trnsys3D Result Visualizer for SketchUp™.

Best,
Christoph
