[TRNSYS-users] How to connect absorption chiller to building cooling load

Sinchote,

There isn't really a way to answer your question. There could be any
number of reasons for a lower than expected cooling load. I would
recommend that you go back through your model and make sure that you
have set up the building correctly. Is there infiltration? Are there
realistic energy gains from occupants and equipment? One common problem
is that the value of TGROUND (the boundary temperature for the ground
floor) gets set to an input whose default value is zero. In the model
this means that the temperature of soil underneath the ground floor is
0C. Setting that temperature to a constant value of the annual average
air temperature is a better (if not ideal) assumption.

kind regards,

  David
