[TRNSYS-users] Angle of Incidence with Type16g

Hi Jeff, thanks for your reply.

I think I have everything correctly setup, and the GHI from the file is the same as the GHI output from the type 16. For testing purposes I’m using a horizontal surface without tracking.

I have tested the following, adding 0.000001 W/m2 to the GHI in the file just after the last value different from zero (aprox. time of day 20:00) and the angle of incidence works perfectly! 

I only did this on the first day to compare, the second day of simulation still has the problem (i’m attaching a screenshot), it seems that the type16 needs some data on that particular time…

My thesis director told me that the University has purchased the version 18 of TRNSYS, so today i’m updating from my version 17.00, hopefully it may resolve some of this…

I’ll try with the new version and let you know if I had any luck.
