It is a little hard to answer without knowing the larger story of what
you are trying to model. Type668 models a single speed compressor heat
pump and the model computes power consumption as an output. If your
system is one in which a power source charges a battery that is then
used to run a heat pump then you could accomplish such a thing using
Type668, controllers, and equations. If, on the other hand, your heat
pump can run on a variable amount of power (for instance it may have a
variable speed compressor in it so that it runs as much as it can given
the input power availability) then you'd need to write a new heat pump
model.

kind regards,

  David
