Hi,

I’m manufacturer of PCM and I’m using Type 399 for the moment, I think it’s the best type for simulating PCM for the moment (http://trnsys.de/download/de/ts_type_399_en.pdf).

We have some project R&D to develop our own type in Trnsys next year.

If we can share information don’t hesitate

Hello Nika,

You should look at Benoit Delcroix’s work on the subject of modelling walls with PCM in TRNSYS:

Good luck!

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] PCMs integrated in walls or similar

Hello

I've been studying how PCM materials integrated in the walls can contribute to energy efficency of buildings. I am trying to simulate this with TRNSYS but I am missing a PCM type or modul for this.

Does anybody has an experience working with PCMs and can share type with me?

Thank you in advance

Nika Gerbec
