Size the return/relief fans for 90% of this number or this number less the minimum outdoor air which ever is larger. </div>
<div><br></div><div>Make the 90.1 calculation then check your fan selections against the allowed HP. This allowed horse power is the sum of all the fans that operate at design. That normally does not include relief fans or parallel fan box fans. According to ASHRAE fi an exhaust fan does not exhaust from the building it is not counted either.</div>
