with sections 5,6,7,8,9, and 10 while applicability criteria in 90.1 section
4.2.1.2 and 4.2.1.3 indicates that additions and alterations to existing
buildings must comply with sections 5,6,7,8,9,and 10 or 11.  So through
the commutative property of ASHRAE logic, the Appendix G baseline applies to
existing buildings and only to the actual addition or alteration that is being
considered under 90.1.  <o:p></o:p></span></p>

clarification on? If your project is an NC project, you should do one energy
model for the facility. You'll have a baseline case and a proposed design case.
Look up some past posts on this forum and CIRs about existing building
modeling. I want to say 90.1 allows the baseline to be modeled one of two ways:
either as the existing building, or as the 90.1 baseline as defined per the
standard. Not sure on this - but a little research should clear it up. </span><br>
