I think they changed that. The library now uses a packaged EER and has
button to allow you to check what that includes

This update contains the following items:

*	Added compressor energy breakout options for unitary equipment to
allow for packaged energy rates to be entered without manual separation.

Don’t forget to break out your packaged efficiencies into components if you
do it this way. Typically, components include compressor, indoor fan, and
condenser fan. You may need to do a hand calc to determine component
efficiencies that add up to your packaged efficiency. Condenser fans
usually come in around 10% of your total package consumption. The “cooling
plant” in trace is really just your compressor as far as unitary equipment
is concerned. Indoor fan is entered in the “create systems” section of the
software.

Select “air cooled unitary” as your plant and assign the rooftop to it under
plant assignments.

There is documentation available for Trace under Help à Documentation. This
should be described in “Getting Started”. The “User’s Manual” goes more
in-depth into more ‘advanced’ systems.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to model air-cooled condensers that are paired w/
rooftop units?
