We would like to have the option to reject heat into a cooling tower, or a hot water Storage tank. When I insert a vapor compression chiller at the moment, I am only able to add a condenser loop and if I add heat recovery flow rate to the chiller, the program fails with an error code calling for a hot water loop. The absorption chiller currently has a 3 loop configuration but heat is lost in that chiller and haven't found a workaround yet. </div><div><br></div><div>I hope that clears up the request. </div><div><br>Thank you,</div><div><br>On Dec 16, 2015, at 9:14 AM, Tim Lawler <<a href="mailto:timl@wnaengineering.com">timl@wnaengineering.com</a>> wrote:<br><br></div><blockquote type="cite"><div>

If I understand what is to be accomplished with the heat recovery
chiller being considered, there is one loop on the cooling side
and one loop on the condenser side. The chiller is used as a heat
pump - that is the heat rejected by the chiller is used. I have
designed these systems. The condenser water can go to heating or,
when the chiller function is cooling only, it would go to heat
rejection equipment.<br>

Eddie, <br>

Regarding the heat recovery chiller, we are not currently
supporting these, since in the Simergy context this chiller has to
be on two loops on the supply side (hot and chilled) and on one
demand side of the condenser loop (typically a component will only
be on one supply side and one or more demand sides). I will put it
on the list of features that we want to add after V1.9. <br>
