[Simergy-users] Heat Recovery Chiller

Tobias,

The chiller you are proposing is exactly what we would need to model our scenario as a workaround. We would like to have the option to reject heat into a cooling tower, or a hot water Storage tank. When I insert a vapor compression chiller at the moment, I am only able to add a condenser loop and if I add heat recovery flow rate to the chiller, the program fails with an error code calling for a hot water loop. The absorption chiller currently has a 3 loop configuration but heat is lost in that chiller and haven't found a workaround yet.

I hope that clears up the request.

Thank you,

The chiller is used as a heat pump - that is the heat rejected by the chiller is used. I have designed these systems. The condenser water can go to heating or, when the chiller function is cooling only, it would go to heat rejection equipment.

I will put it on the list of features that we want to add after V1.9.
