Hello,

when compiling lustre 1.8.0 from source against vanilla kernel 2.6.22.19 on
our gentoo systems i do get the following:

lustre-1.8.0 # modprobe lnet
WARNING: Error inserting libcfs
(/lib/modules/2.6.22.19/kernel/net/lustre/libcfs.ko): Invalid module format
FATAL: Error inserting lnet
(/lib/modules/2.6.22.19/kernel/net/lustre/lnet.ko): Invalid module format

Compilation and install without errors.
./configure --with-linux=/usr/src/linux-2.6.22.19/
make
make install

Kernel is patched with quilt against the source tarball 1.8.0 downloaded
today.

What do i miss here ?

Version 1.6.0 we are using compiles and runs fine.

Thanks and regards
Heiko
