<p style="text-align:left;margin:10px 0;padding:0;color:#202020;font-family:Helvetica;font-size:16px;line-height:150%">IBPSA-USA is represented on the IBPSA-World Board by an Affiliate Director who serves for two years and must be approved by the IBPSA-World membership.<br>
<br>
The expectations for an Affiliate Director are to attend a face-to-face meeting once a year, participate in web meetings six times a year, and serve on Board committees. The next two face-to-face meetings will be held in Newcastle, UK (Sept 10 - 11, 2016) and San Francisco, CA (Aug 2017). This is a voluntary position -- there is no financial support provided by IBPSA-World. In the past, there has been some expense reimbursement from IBPSA-USA, but this is not a firm policy. You must be an IBPSA-USA member to be nominated.<br>

If you are selected as the IBPSA-USA nominee, you will need to prepare a short ballot profile before <strong>June 1</strong>.</p>

Its easy to join an IBPSA-USA Committee. Committees meet 1 time per month and take, on average, 2-3 hours per month of your time. It's a great way to give back to the organization and the IBPSA community, while also expanding your network and engaging in interesting work. <br>
