The IBPSA-SF chapter invites you all to the March session where the focus would be on LEED v4 and what the modeling community would be prepared for in doing the water calcs, energy models and IAQ thermal/visual comfort/daylighting calculations.

The speakers for the session will be Jake Arlein and Warren Neilson from Environmental Building Strategies (EBS).

Warren Neilson, Director of Projects & Sr. Sustainability Consultant, Environmental Building Strategies
LEED AP+ (BD&C), CGBP, GreenPoint Rater
At EBS, Warren facilitates projects from pre-entitlement through construction and occupancy to maximize sustainable initiatives and LEED points in each phase. He is active in the green building community as a member of the USGBC's LEED v4 Implementation Advisory Committee, and has lectured on LEED v4 at the University of California at Berkeley. Warren also holds a visiting professor position in Devry University's Sustainability Management program, has lectured on High Performance Building design at West Valley College, and has taught classes on climate change and sustainable design at Mission High School.

Jake Arlein, Partner & Director of Certification Services, Environmental Building Strategies
LEED AP+ (ID&C)
Jake oversees all LEED consulting projects at EBS.  An expert across all LEED rating systems, Jake currently specializes in LEED EBOM, New Construction and Core & Shell. Having managed over 70 LEED projects, Jake has led over 20 buildings and 7 million sq. ft. across the globe to maximize LEED certification level.  He recently completed certification for the third highest rated LEED EBOM project in the world for Japan's Obayashi Corporation. Jake is actively engaged in the development of the LEED rating systems as a group leader for the LEED v4 Regional Priority Committee and a member of the Content Development Team for GBCI.
