Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch is looking for an Environmental Performance Analyst to join our San Francisco office. This position will provide management and support for energy modeling and analysis efforts.  Tasks include leading analysis/modeling efforts of building systems, energy audits of existing buildings, and supporting design projects on their sustainability goals.  Additional responsibilities include leading and supporting research efforts involving environmental performance.

Specific Requirements:


·         Mechanical Engineering degree with either coursework or experience in HVAC design or analysis.

·         Basic knowledge of air psychrometric properties - if not, then willingness to learn about them in-depth.

·         Intermediate level knowledge of Excel.

·         Good report writing ability.

·         Expert knowledge of energy modeling software; IES-VE, Energy Pro, and eQuest needed.

·         Experience leading and managing complete energy modeling efforts.

·         Experience working with design teams to optimize design elements and coordinate modeling with the project schedule.

·         Expert knowledge of energy codes and standards - ASHRAE Standard 90.1, Title-24, Cal Green.

·         Healthcare project experience a plus but not required.

·         3-7 years of experience needed.
