*STUDENT POSTER COMPETITION*
Win a travel scholarship to attend the IBPSA Building Simulation
conference in Glasgow in July 2009.
IBPSA-USA will held a student poster competition at the IBPSA-USA
meeting, to be held on January 24 at 4pm in Chicago prior to the ASHRAE
conference.
To participate, submit your poster in PDF or PPT format to Michael
Wetter (MWetter at lbl.gov) and Michael J. Brandemuehl
(Michael.Brandemuehl at Colorado.EDU) by January 4, 2009.
A maximum of six posters will be selected for presentation at the
IBPSA-USA meeting in Chicago. The authors of these six posters will
bring a hardcopy to the IBPSA-USA meeting in order to present their
poster to a larger jury. The jury will decide who will be awarded a US-$
2000 grant, to be used to pay or offset expenses to attend the IBPSA
Building Simulation conference in Glasgow in July 2009.
*Eligibility*

Participants must be students during the Spring 2009 semester.

Participants must be able to attend and present their poster at
the IBPSA-USA meeting in Chicago.

Participants need not be authors of a paper for the IBPSA-USA
meeting, but priority will be given to those who have an abstract
accepted.

The grant need to be used to pay or offset expenses to attend the
IBPSA conference in Glasgow.
*Format*

Posters should be maximum 2 feet by 3 feet, portrait orientation.
*
Email submissions should be no more than 10 MB, in PDF or PPT format.
*Key dates*
January 4, 2009: Poster submission to Michael Wetter (MWetter at lbl.gov)
and Michael J. Brandemuehl (_Michael.Brandemuehl at Colorado.EDU
<mailto:Michael.Brandemuehl at Colorado.EDU>_). This is a firm deadline.
January 12, 2009: Participants will be informed whether they are among
the six best submissions.
January 24, 2009: The authors of the six best submissions will present
their poster at the IBPSA-USA meeting in Chicago. The winner will be
announced during the dinner.
