Hi Daniel,

‎You could combine the primary and secondary pumps into an equivalent ("primary") pump and model Primary Only Variable Speed.

To determine the equivalent pump, multiply the head by flow for each primary and secondary pump. Add the results together and divide by the total secondary pump flow. The result will be the effective pump head. Use the total secondary pump flow for the flow.

I am modeling an all variable speed chiller plant and since HAP only provide configuration for constant primary variable secondary chilled water distribution system, I will really appreciate if somebody can provide info on a work around to capture the energy savings from using variable speed drive primary pump. Any comment or guidance will be highly appreciated.
