<div dir="auto">However, there is a parametric run creator in the detailed interface that can modify virtually any single DOE-2 keyword or combination of keywords in the model. <br><br></div>
<div dir="auto">The one thing the detailed interface parametric run tool cannot do is create something new. But it can enable and disable model elements. Suppose you wanted to run your model with a comparing an electric with a natural gas fired boiler. Both the gas and electric boilers must be defined in the base model. However the electric boiler could carry the building load in the baseline either using an EQUIPMENT CONTROL or through boiler sizing. In the parametric run, the EQUIPMENT CONTROL or boiler sizes can be modified to operate the natural gas fired boiler. The grid view button at the bottom of the parametric run screen is helpful for seeing all keyword changes for all parametric runs.<br><br></div>
