In general, you can stay out of trouble if you approach the simulation in "steps". I try to teach this to my students who use DOE-2.1e (yes, I'm still teaching the BDL after 35 years, and include barefoot tools for post-processing the output such at GAWK, RP1093
and RP1050), as well as DOE-2.2 (though I'm still not fluent with the DOE-2.2 BDL).</div>

For example, start with an input file (one of the SAMP files will do that come with the package), then create your new building by stepping into the new file, one or two changes at a time, running it between steps to make sure it has not crashed. Also, during

<p class="yiv9500108402x_MsoNormal">I am modeling a nonresidential building using eQuest 3.65, DOE 2.3. The model is still in preliminary stage and most of the data are auto-sized/default. I tried to simulate the model and I am getting this error, “Abnormal simulation results
detected.” Please see the attached image for full error message. It is directing me to send input and weather file to program developers.

<p class="yiv9500108402x_MsoNormal">I have used fan powered series VAVs for some zones along with AHUs for the remaining spaces. The OA is supplied by DOAS. I tired changing the fan schedule to ON/OFF type as described in the forum but couldn’t resolve the issue. Someone
please advice on how to resolve the issue.</p>
