Hi Tanya,

The cooling capacity you enter at the system is the cooling capacity for each respective AHU unit (provide you are not using any floor multipliers). If you are using multipliers (where each zone has a multiplier assigned to it), than the cooling capacity is the total including the multiplier (so if you had 3 identical floors and were modeling this as a multiplier of 3, the AHU cooling capacity entered is the capacity for all 3 AHU's).

Chris

On Mon, May 27, 2019 at 7:25 AM Tanya Soji via Equest-users <equest-users@lists.onebuilding.org> wrote:

Hi there,

I just have a question on the Air-side HVAC system – I have AHU’s only serving this building. One AHU per floor (Total AHU cooling capacity = 800,760 Btu/hr). What is the “total cooling capacity” that needs to be entered in this case (when the system type is multi-zone..), can the actual total cooling capacity be entered for all the zones or does it have to be split (total capacity divided by the number of AHU’s) per zone? I feel the energy consumption is highly dependent on this factor and hence I would really appreciate if someone could come up with a solution.

I have attached the screenshot for reference.
