<p class="MsoNormal">The government of Canada seems to have updated their engineering climate data sets to be used for energy simulations. The new data sets can be found here:<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I quickly compared a CWEC file available from the doe2 website with the latest CWEC_V_2016 file from the website above for the same city and sure enough the number of heating degree days have been reduced and cooling degree days have gone
up. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The issue I have with these files is I can’t seem to determine what years they are based on. The text files available on their ftp site are outdated (they maintain the CWEC files are based on data from 1960-1989), and the descriptions on
the website are ambiguous. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Given the recent flurry of activity on weather files, I figured someone would be able to answer this pretty quickly!<o:p></o:p></p>
